Early Challenges & Turning Point
Nathaniel has candidly shared that he struggled academically and initially distanced himself from TUP during his first semester. Despite this, TUP remained consistent in outreach, and after a challenging start, he began to engage with our support.
Entrepreneurial Support
During the COVID-19 pandemic, TUP provided a grant to support Nathaniel as he worked on launching a start-up company, recognizing and investing in his entrepreneurial efforts.
Internship Fund
TUP funded housing in both New York City and Connecticut for two consecutive summers, allowing Nathaniel to pursue internships at JPMorgan without financial burden.
Career Milestone
Nathaniel secured a full-time offer with JPMorgan as an Asset & Wealth Management Private Bank Analyst, entering his senior year with a post-graduation role in hand and eliminating the need to apply or interview for positions during his final year.
Giving Back
In the summer of 2025, Nathaniel launched the Concrete Sports Foundation to inspire and uplift young people through sports and community programming. Its debut event, the Rose Classic powered by Concrete Sports, brought together over 500 kids for basketball games, free haircuts and braiding, backpack giveaways, free food, and motivational talks from guest speakers. The energy and impact were undeniable. As Nathaniel shared, “This is just the beginning for Concrete Sports Foundation. More events. More opportunities. More impact.”
